Illiquid markets are much like the world of quantum physics. Try to get a price quote and you moved the market. You may know the market price (position) for a very small order without moving the market, but as soon as you test the depth of the market (momentum), the market is moved.
Similarly, concentrated markets are much like the world of relativity. Markets will gravitate towards large market players, distorting prices and allocations.
